Supporting Youth Empowerment Yount/Young People Ages 14-17

At No Struggle No Success (NSNS), we empower youth ages 14–17 to rise above challenges and step into their purpose.

Through mentorship, diversion programs, and partnerships with DJJ, schools, and courts, we support young people facing real-life barriers—like trauma, homelessness, learning disabilities, and peer influence.

We meet them where they are, guide them forward, and help them build a future rooted in confidence, accountability, and opportunity.

💙 Every youth deserves a second chance—and a strong support system.

Our Network that Advocates a Cultural Message

Children require safety and support that is appropriately implemented to create an environment conducive to healthy living.

At No Struggle No Success (NSNS), we believe that every young person has the potential to make meaningful contributions and lead a life filled with purpose and fulfillment. By focusing on Childhood Experience, Adaptation, and Adulthood Functioning, NSNS creates structured pathways that help teens recognize their unique gifts and talents, channeling these into passions that align with their personal interests. This approach fosters self-awareness, community connection, and a greater understanding of the world.

Adolescence is a pivotal time for emotional growth, and it requires the right balance of support and structured guidance to navigate the transition to adulthood. Through a relationship-centered mentorship approach, NSNS provides teens with tools to build positive connections with their environment, peers, parents, and community, which collectively shape a constructive and resilient outlook on life.

Our mentorship platform empowers teens to find their voices, fostering future leaders, problem-solvers, and trailblazers. The NSNS Youth Empowerment program is led by youth and young adults, creating a system of support reinforced by parents, schools, and the community.

  1. Holistic Well-being
NSNS ensures that youth receive comprehensive support, including access to mental health resources and social-emotional development. We are here to listen, and we make sure their voices are acknowledged, accepted, and acted upon.
  2. Empowerment and Leadership
By amplifying youth voices, we nurture communication skills, broaden perspectives, and foster leadership qualities. NSNS helps shape behaviors that allow youth to confidently pursue their dreams, ultimately strengthening them to become active contributors to their communities.

Through this program, youth are not only prepared to avoid criminal behaviors and prison but are also equipped with the tools, confidence, and support to positively impact their lives and inspire community healing.

Youth Driven

Our Safe Haven program and young adult activities provide an appealing, engaging outlet where youth find a voice and a platform to be heard. Dedicated to empowering young adults, we offer guidance on securing, maintaining, and advancing in employment. Through a collaborative approach, we connect participants with community-based programs and organizations to build job readiness skills, promote college preparedness, and introduce technology-based learning.

Additionally, our Youth Advisory Council Committee offers grooming and beauty services for students attending Baltimore City schools and members of our Social Cube program. These services, along with our comprehensive support, help students feel confident and prepared to pursue their goals

Health Disparities

We empower youth by providing education on essential healthcare practices. Our programs cover topics like teen dating violence, self-respect workshops, reproductive health, unintended pregnancies, safe sex, HIV/STD prevention, health screenings, and psychosocial and sexual development. We also connect youth with trusted primary care providers, mental health counselors, addiction specialists, and more, ensuring they have the resources they need to make informed decisions and access comprehensive care. .

No Struggle No Success in Action

Prevention, Intervention & Transitional Care for Young People

Onsite School Supportive Care & Navigating Juvenile System " Transitional Planning"

Our objective is to provide authentic guidance that supports healthy brain development and addresses the challenges arising from trauma. Through comprehensive workshops and mentorship, we aim to reduce gang influence, decrease drug use, and create an environment that fosters accountability and personal growth.

We deliver workshops and specialized sessions for two groups:

  • youth under 17; and
  • young adults aged 18–20 who have sentences ranging from two years up to life sentences.

We believe this holistic approach will lead to fewer conflicts and less criminal activity, thereby fostering a safer environment and laying the foundation for successful reentry—both mentally and emotionally—while these young people are still serving their sentences.

Early Warning Indicators helping disconnect YOUTH

When individuals are equipped with structured home plans, clear goals, proactive support, and accountability, success is possible—no matter their past.  This truth extends to our children too. With guidance, consistency, and a shift in mindset, we can redirect their path before the system does.  Preparation, not punishment. Structure, not shame. Healing, not harm.
