NSNS ensures the youth, adults and their families have culturally appropriate wrap-around prevention services including programs that connect youth and young adult to traditional practices of community building and healing and that they have support to navigate through the justice system. NSNS supports motivated individuals who are incarcerated or recently released from prisons and detention centers. NSNS promotes community-oriented and problem-oriented policing to improve community safety and school and community-based restorative and transformative justice approaches focused on healing as an alternative to the court system. Our key recipe is mentorship & peer support. The program balances intentional instruction with aligning values of self-sufficiency success.
NSNS demonstrate ways to reduce recidivism, build impactful relationships, decrease mass incarceration, advocate for law modifications, and remove the obstacles in the reentry transition for adult offenders and intervention services for youth and young adults.
The transition from incarceration and returning to community leaves feelings of helplessness and embarrassment.
NSNS reentry program is uniquely positioned to address a person to leave old habits.
Every day, NSNS leadership seeks out ways to bring awareness to the reentry population. No Struggle No Success, Inc. accepts participants who have the willingness to learn and modify behaviors during incarceration as they prepare to transition back to their families and the community.
